Raytheon Special Programs ISSM in Tewksbury, Massachusetts

This Position is responsible for the development and administration of information systems and security procedures for Raytheon Special Program customer information systems and networks supporting the DoD as well as some Collateral Programs. The candidate will also be responsible for ensuring Information System compliance throughout the Integrated Defense Systems (IDS) Business and may support multiple IDS Business Centers when necessary. The candidate will communicate and coordinate Information Systems Security policy across multiple Cross Business Teams (CBT) and Integrated Business Teams (IBT) as well as partner with other Raytheon Businesses as necessary. The position requires frequent interaction with government agencies to obtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations. This position will support multiple Special Programs and Collateral Programs located at the Integrated Defense Systems Headquarters Center in Tewksbury, MA. There is also limited travel to other Raytheon Businesses and various program locations. It is also an expectation that the individual be able to obtain an IAM Level III DoD 8570.1 IA Certification within 6 months of starting in the role. NOTE: This position can be a Salary Grade A03 or Salary Grade A04 based on the candidate's qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibility requirements for the position. Required Skills: Four (4)+ years of DoD Information Systems Security experience. Existing Secret clearance granted within the past 5 years. Experience with JSIG, JAFAN 6/3, DCID 6/3 or ICD 503, or National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) Chapter 8 requirements. Experience developing IS security plans, policy, and procedures for Stand Alone Systems, Local Area Network (LAN) Information Systems and Wide Area Network (WAN) Information Systems. Experience with Windows/Solaris/Linux or similar operating systems. Desired Skills: Previous experience performing successfully as an Information System Security Manager (ISSM) in an industrial security environment. Currently holds a DOD 8570.1 IAM Level III Certification; (i.e. CISSP). Currently holds a Top Secret Clearance with SCI. Working knowledge of the Joint Special Access Programs (SAP) Implementation Guide (JSIG). Working knowledge with the Risk Managed Framework (RMF). Ability to effectively work as part of a team. Excellent communication skills (written & oral). Individual must have the ability to conduct IS User Briefings. Possess good time management skills. Utilize forward thinking to anticipate customer/government changes and challenges. Ability to execute tough decisions with minimal supervision in accordance with government regulations. Ability to handle various situations in high pressure environments. Understands and leverages IDS business knowledge to achieve results (financial, manpower, etc). Demonstrate ability to develop and defend Basis of Estimates. Required Education (including major): Bachelor’s degree, preferably in one of the following but not limited to: Computer Information Systems, Information Assurance, and Business Administration.
