The ISG Cloud Operations Team provides operations and support services to the ISG Cloud - a First in Class global delivery platform for distributing reference data across Citi businesses. The ISG Cloud platform is a critical segment of data processing and distribution from source to client. Our focus is to ensure that data delivery is fast, secure, and seamless providing high flexibility between disparate systems and extensive customization of data subscriptions to downstream systems.

The new hire will join the ISG Cloud Operations Team and will focus on supporting the ISG Cloud platform, our Business Clients and work cross-functionally with other teams to improve and optimize application functionality and performance. The successful candidate will develop a comprehensive understanding of the ISG Cloud platform, already have a deep understanding of the basic technologies upon which it was built and be able to leverage the two to quickly resolve issues and preempt future issues. Furthermore, the new hire will occasionally work weekends and evenings as part of a standard rotation.

Qualifications

Technical Skills

Basic Java programming experience

Strong experience working with Red Hat Enterprise Linux

Strong shell scripting experience

Knowledge of MongoDB is a plus

Education

BS in computer science or information technology

Experience

At least 2 years in a similar technical support capacity
