Brief Description of the Organization

CBNA is the primary legal entity for Citi, providing products and services to consumers, financial institutions and corporate clients around the world. In the past, Citi has provided most of its internal reporting on a business by business basis. With the changes in the regulatory environment, strong legal entity reporting and governance has become essential. This team is responsible for ensuring that CBNA has the appropriate governance and control infrastructure to meet the demand for legal entity planning, execution, information management and the ever-evolving regulatory environment.

Description of the Position

This position will involve the review of all AAM Breaks for every account and client relationship reviewed on an annual basis as part of the PR process. CPB has enhanced the processes and controls in support of the AAM Breaks Process following an OCC MRA raised in during an AML Examination. Client profiles with marginal AUMs will also be reviewed to ensure compliance with Citi Private Bank policy and regulatory mandates. The AAM & Periodic Review Analyst will act as a front line KYC quality control gate keeper and process desk top due diligence verification, ensuring there are no deficiencies in the AAM break rationale nor in the required profile data or documentation.

The AAM & Periodic Review Analyst will review each AAM break rationale and/or AAM Form content in support of the breaks, as well as access client profiles and supporting documentation for adherence to CPB policy and quality requirements. This position requires the ability to work independently and apply knowledge of policy and procedures to determine that all aspects of the client’s profile are accurate and acceptable. With experience, the AAM specialist will act as a subject matter expert in relation to policy or process inquiries and system enhancement requests.

Other more specific tasks may involve the following:

Review of AAM forms to ensure accuracy prior to opening any Brokerage account;

Review of profiles presented via CPB system making comparison of the information (Narrative) entered into the Client Profile with information present in documents; Assessment of the Client’s net worth, etc.

The AAM & Periodic Review Analyst will also be responsible for the monthly Post-Execution Revier of Client Risk Framework (CRF) profiles. This consists of an independent review of a sample of CRFs approved in the previous month to verify consistency with KYC Policy and internal AML procedures.

Qualifications

• 2 Years KYC or AML Compliance skills, ideally gained from working in a similar role

• Strong communication skills, both written and oral

• Good interpersonal skills

• Ability to work both independently and within a team

• Ability to work accurately with strong attention to detail

• Well organized

• Able to work with deadlines

• Strong PC skills

• Spanish and/or Portuguese languages are a plus
