Job Locations US-WA-Tacoma Type Varies Posted Date 11/28/2016 Overview: Position Description: Bring your deep knowledge of software development to a team of highly skilled software professionals working in a Scrum methodology. Provide mentorship, guidance and direction to the efforts of building robust business critical proprietary software. Job Duties: Mentor other developers in the growth of their technical skills. Develop, modify, debug and evaluate programs for functional areas, including but not limited to Finance, Human Resources, Operations and Marketing. Assists in gathering requirements, develop technical documentation, modify existing programs or formulate logic for new systems. Devise logic procedures, perform coding and unit test, and debug programs. Prepare and/or review system and programming documentation. Resolve a wide range of issues in imaginative as well as practical ways using the established SDLC/Scrum methodology and willingly assists team members to do the same. Be a leader in our Scrum teams. Follows through with commitments and fosters mutual trust with team members and fellow employees. Helps all team members meet their commitments. Develop proof of concept projects with minimal requirements specified up front. Work with the BizTalk team. Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience; and at least 5 years of related software development experience. Extensive experience with Scrum methodology.
