Kratos Technology & Training Solutions Regional Sales Manager in Syosset, New York
The Regional Sales Manager must have the ability to express product knowledge. Must be able to promote and sell company products and capabilities. Ensure good customer relations through customer contact and site visits. Work under minimum supervision.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Review customer inquiries (RFPs) and coordinate information (engineering, pricing, quality, contractual) necessary for discussion and review with Management.
Maintain and develop new customers through sales calls and visits.
Conduct Corporate and product demonstrations and presentations.
Prepare and coordinate formal quotations/proposals in response to customer RFPs.
Prepare sales forecasts and reports as well as maintaining internal reporting.
Monitor major customer programs and provide technical support.
Manage and support field sales representatives. Monitor major customer programs and provide technical support when necessary.
Attend and Represent Company as required at Industry Trade Shows
Strong customer management and presentation skills
Experience and Skills:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information as required by Government Standards
Maintain and Expand Customer Base by counseling our sales representatives
Building and Maintaining rapport with key customers, identifying new customer opportunities
Meets Sales objectives, forecasting requirements
Ability to communicate and to build strong cross functional teams by interfacing with manufacturing, engineering and quality to communicate customer needs and issues
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Knowledge of sales and marketing techniques.
Ten years minimum experience of Direct Sales and Rep Management for an RF/Microwave MMIC/Component
