Catalent Pharma Solutions Process Technician in St Petersburg, Florida

Identify, scope, support and lead process, equipment or technology improvement projects in a GMP environment to address business process problems and design new processes to achieve results.

Partner with the site level finance team to document the fiscal impact of solutions.

Maintain all appropriate data within the site project prioritization and tracking system.

Support and/or manage process and/or equipment improvement projects for existing commercial processes

Lead or support problem-solving sessions to drive rapid resolution of safety, quality, or performance events; develop and/or lead actions that will prevent reoccurrence.

Participate in and/or lead process improvement projects following to achieve business results;

Partner with area leaders to establish visual performance measurement systems to improve performance visibility and drive action to meet objectives.

Provide technical expertise to teams to enhance quality of services/ products

Communicate frequently with site leadership, project sponsors, and project champions regarding project status, issues and accomplishments

Contributor on multi-disciplinary project teams

Bachelors degree in Engineering or Science related field or equivalent experience through extensive success in process improvement initiatives in a manufacturing environment

Minimum of 3 year experience applying classical improvement techniques in a manufacturing environment

Green or Black Belt certification desired

Demonstrated leadership skills with ability to drive personal accountability at every level of the organization

Superior interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; able to communicate effectively and interact with personnel at all levels of technical ability and expertise

Excellent problem-solving and risk assessment skills

Demonstrated ability to influence others without line management responsibilities

Must be able to work under deadlines and handle multiple and detail-oriented tasks

Must be able to work independently on-site and in off-site locations

Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools: Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint and Visio

Proficient in use of Minitab or other statistical software

Working knowledge of databases (Oracle/MySQL), SCADA (Factory PMI/SQL), and MRP Systems (e.g. POMS/ Werum) preferred.

Physical/Mental Requirements: (List any special requirements to be able to perform job.)

Must be able to travel 10% of time

Must be able to operate a computer, flip chart documentation, and LCD projection equipment

Must be able to traverse long distances within and between manufacturing facilities

Work Environment: (Describe conditions under which work is performed.)

Work is performed directly in any of Catalent’s facilities, including but not limited to office areas, manufacturing facilities, distribution facilities, research facilities and storage facilities.

Work may also be performed in hotel conference areas.
