The COTA (Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant) assists with the coordination of patient centered and occupational based goals to ensure diagnostic and therapeutic services and rehabilitation are provided to patients.
Associates degree in Occupational Therapy from American Occupational Therapy Association.
Experience in appropriate healthcare setting preferred.
Current Florida COTA (Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant) License.
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) through American Heart Association.
Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills; ability to read/comprehend written instructions; ability to follow verbal instructions; PC skills.
Ability to lift 50 lbs maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
