Responsibilities Req ID: 20410 Responsible for job requirements as posted in the OR CST job description Scrubbing surgical cases Set up and maintenance of sterile field Contribution to care of patient and excellent outcomes in relation to the surgical care environment Work as a team player throughout the perioperative continuum of care Participation in process/outcome improvement measure for patients, department and organization Actively role modeling a positive attitude of excellent teamwork and customer service Education Must be a graduate of NBSTSA accredited Surgical Technologist Program with the ability to obtain NBSTSA certification within 12 months of hire date Qualification/Skills Experience Two years of experience as a surgical technologist in an operating room setting preferred This individual will be required to be proficient in carious services Skills Strong surgical technology and patient care skills Excellent written and verbal communications to be demonstrated through the hiring process Assessment, problem solving and organizational abilities readily demonstrated Work Schedule Permanent evening, occasional call and weekends.
