Job Summary: Responsible for the delivery of the learning curriculum for residential sales representatives and care agents as well as commercial sales representatives (Business Services) that enhances performance and delivers a return on investment. Works with moderate guidance in own area of knowledge. Core Responsibilities: - Facilitates learning to develop participants' competencies and help learners meet specified performance expectations. - Monitors linkage between curriculum and improved learner job performance; coaches participants on the job, ensuring learning translates to performance. - Evaluates and documents learning progress and teams up with other Trainers, Training Managers, and business partners to provide feedback. - Provides direction to employees during training by documenting attendance, coaching to appropriate and desired behavior, and documenting performance and development needs while in the learning environment. - Assists in revising existing courseware for training. - Communicates learning schedules, calendar, and maintains participant learning records during training. - Uses the appropriate training model to aid in participant skill strength. - Manages classroom and/or virtual environment to ensure a quality learning experience and escalates behavioral issues to local manager and HR representative. - Adheres to established policies and procedures related to learners and Trainers. - Supports Comcast University content feedback loop to drive ongoing quality improvement to national training programs. - Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in all matters. - Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights, weekends, and a variable schedule(s) as necessary. - Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Job Specification: - Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent - Requires a minimum of 2 years of sales experience. - Demonstrated passion around adult learning and supporting the growth of others. Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in work experience and self-study - 2 years combined or separate- sales training delivery and/or sales channel experience required - Excellent oral and written communication skills - Demonstrated presentation, facilitation, and coaching skills in a classroom environment and in the field. - Proven understanding and application of Adult Learning Theory - Telecommunications industry experience - Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization - Ability to display a commitment to promoting team spirit and working collaboratively to achieve team goals - Ability to travel to up to 75% to locations within the Comcast footprint - Position will require shift work to accommodate business needs Comcast is an EOE/Veterans/Disabled/LGBT employer
