Enterprise Holdings is seeking driven and passionate technologists to join our summer 2017 internship program. As an “Ignite” intern, you will be part of a team tasked with supporting our Windows and AIX administration. You will have the opportunity to work side-by-side with our operations team and assist with incident remediation and root cause analysis. As an “Ignite” intern at Enterprise Holdings you will be responsible for creating innovative business solutions for real world problems.

  • Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future

  • Implements software, hardware, and configuration changes to IT systems.

  • Provides phone support to users and other teams in IT; investigates and resolves technical problems.

  • Fulfills work requests; processes work and change requests and assists other teams with their work requests.

  • Collaborates with customers, business partners, and engineering teams to implement appropriate IT solutions using approved change management procedures.

  • Creates and maintains technical and support documentation; reviews documentation for technical accuracy and provides feedback as needed.

  • Assists with monitoring backups, job streams and system availability.

  • Performs documented, standardized maintenance procedures such as patching and server decommissioning.

  • Maintains established service level agreements to meet customer expectations and quality standards.

  • Protects our customers, our employees, and our brands by incorporating security and compliance in all decisions and daily job responsibilities; follows security policies and procedures.

  • Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities

  • Must be a Junior or higher in 4 year university

  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher

  • Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business-Technology coursework


  • Previous Internship or Co-op experience

  • Past work experience and/or community service
