Role Purpose:

In a position with Food Services, you will be responsible for preparing food for patients, employees and other cafeteria guests. Employees have the opportunity to learn on the job and progress through the various roles that allow Food Services to enhance the customer experience and carry out our Mission to deliver exceptional health care services.


  • Safely operates required equipment
  • Prepares food as assigned according to standard recipes, food preparation guidelines, and sanitation standards
  • Understands and accommodates special diet requests

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to walk, stand and bend for extended periods of time
  • Ability to work early mornings, late evenings, weekends and holidays

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Safe Serve Certification
  • Experience in health care related environment
  • Experience with nutrition and diets
  • Completion of basic nutrition or dietary related coursework
