GCS is currently seeking a Program Manager to directly support the Associate Deputy CIO for IC ITE Transition. The Program Manager will support our client in Springfield, VA.

Position Description:

  • Provide action item management support to a wide range of current and future taskings related to IC ITE transition and adoption of IC ITE services

  • Prepare executive level white papers, presentations and briefings

  • Generate draft responses to action items, taskers, and reports related to IC ITE transition and adoption of IC ITE services

  • Coordinate and schedule meetings with Key Component (KC)-level staff as well as senior IC leaders regarding IC ITE transition initiatives and IT Career Services

  • Assist in creating and modifying documentation to support IT Career Services and IC ITE transition recommendations

  • Prepare, edit and coordinate meeting minutes and official correspondence

  • Coordinate action item assignment and resolution among multiple offices across geospatial customer lines and the IC; perform independent research and analysis

  • Provide feedback and recommendations to the IT Career Services Board, provide multi-faceted executive staff support and maintain quality control of all outgoing correspondence

  • Assist in developing and implementing workforce strategies and plans to include mission requirements, composition, skills assessments, assignments, rotations, career development, promotion, certification, succession management and Rank-In-Person programs

  • Monitor workload and taskings to ensure quality and timeliness of responses

*Required Knowledge, Skills and Competencies: *

  • TS/SCI with Polygraph

  • Experience working with other geospatial customer and IC offices

  • Possess excellent written and oral communication skills, excellent organizational skills, strong interpersonal skills; must be customer focused and detail oriented

  • Possess excellent computer skills in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

  • Possess strong leadership, problem identification/resolution skills, flexibility, initiative, and the proven ability to work with senior executives efficiently and effectively

  • Ability to work independently and as a team member under tight deadlines with changing priorities

Education/Training/Certifications Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 10-15 years of progressive experience in a staff or similar discipline within the DoD and Intelligence Community, or Master’s degree with 9 years’ experience
