Material Flow Coordinator – (6th Level)

Hiring for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Shifts. This job will require working various shifts, overtime, and some off-shift production support.

Major Responsibilities Include:

· Coordinates material counts for engineering changes, breakpoints, and PTR’s

· Supports/manages obsolescence adjustments

· Investigates part histories to identify misuse, specification problems, unaccounted scrap or potential theft

· Audit of receiving process, follow-up and resolution of discrepancies, including duplicate receipts

· Investigates/validates DR’s & NSR’s

· Responsible for end of model obsolescence

· Performs a daily audit of record adjustments including MR/DR reviews

· Manage Escrap system access, processing and communication to the plant teams

· Coordinates record retention adhering to GM ILM requirements

· Coordinates and ensures compliance to PRSA processes

· Interfaces with launch support teams and is responsible for ordering supplemental material for each MRD and executes MVB Material process

· Performs material receipt analysis and investigates losses

· Plan and execute cycle counts to support monthly and annual corporate requirements

· Prepare monthly reports regarding all material adjustments along with root cause analysis

Education and/or Training Preferred

· College degree or equivalent training, plus training such as that acquired in the first one to two years of college, technical or business school

· 1-3 years Material Flow Coordinator experience

· Knowledge of unit's manufacturing sequences, products, policies and plant layout
