Description

You are required to handling SPDC shipment process, including proper documentation, liaising with warehouse personnel for incoming or outgoing shipment, assisting and resolving issues with CSR and Material teams. You will acting as backup roles within the team to ensure the shipping function as normal. The additional role including lead/ involve process improvement work.

  • Liaising with facilities forwarders and shipping agents

  • Liaising with material planner team, warehouse team, customer service representative

  • Resolve problems for planner, warehouse and CSR when they encounter issue with forwarders or shipment arrangement

  • To handle shipping documentation (Air / Ocean) and ensure accurate information used for shipment arrangement

  • Proper document the updated shipment processes in QSI.

  • Update daily operations matrix ensuring accurate data entry regarding inward/ outward shipments.

  • Update daily time stamp of inbound received parts/ incoming shipment status to GOMS.

  • Claims Management – Ensure all claimable inbound deliveries (wet, damaged shipments caused by transport provider) are attached, surveyed, tracked, submitted to QA for final disposition and subsequently claimed to Transport provider or insurance claim.

  • Receive inbound invoices and ensure complete receipt of physical invoices vs. list. Identify invoices with abnormal charges and submit to Transportation Manager for confirmation.

  • Randomly audit invoices and check for correct invoicing/ DO. Ensure all documents are readied for Audit.

  • Lead / involve transportation process improvement

  • India and China consolidation program shipment mode approval

  • Retrieve Memphis containers invoices from Memphis GOMS and send K&N the documents for cargo clearance purpose.

  • Perform ad-hoc / other admin tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Degree/Diploma in Supply Chain / Business Administration/Management or Engineering

  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience on shipping and administration and people management.

  • Proficient in MS Office – Advanced Level

  • PC literate

  • Good communication skill in English and Mandarin (oral/written)

  • Time management skills.

  • Attention to Details.
