Key position responsibilities:
To lead in the electrical and electronics design team from idea’s generation, design, prototype, qualifications until manufacturing release for a life science instrument.
Design and develop instrument analog & RF circuit, board design and power requirements.
Work closely together with cross functional team within R&D;, Marketing, QA, NPI, product support, material engineers and technicians throughout product life cycle.
Analyze, troubleshot and resolve issues related to instrument electrical and electronic system.
Masters or PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
8 years of working experience as analog circuit design engineer for complex life science instruments or integrated systems. Complete at least 5 product design cycles.
Experience in analog circuit design:
High voltage (RF and DC)
Discrete, op-amps, integrated functions
Control systems (PID)
Mixed signal A/Ds & D/As
Sub pico-amp current detection
Sensor interfacing and translation
Temperature and Flow control
Experience in simulations tools (Agilent ADS, CST).
Experience in PCBA schematic capture (Mentor DxDesigner) is a must and experience in layout tools (Mentor Expedition) is an added advantage.
Hand on experience in analyzing equipment’s, such as spectrum analyzer, network analyzer and oscilloscope.
Strong statistical knowledge especially in Six Sigma tools and DOE has an added advantage.
