Catholic Community Services of Southern Arizona, I Case Manager II – ICPC Specialist in Sierra Vista, Arizona

As a condition of employment, all CCS employees are required to qualify for an Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card

Position Purpose

Provide direct services including home studies, monitoring, supervision and recommendation for certification or licensure of families for permanent placement or for child care and welfare services in Cochise, Santa Cruz, Graham, Greenlee and Gila Counties. Position may from time to time be stressful and require a high demand of performance. May perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Functions
  • Completes home studies for other states in accordance with ICPC requirements, includes recommended approval or denial
  • Completes guardianship, kinship, relative & non-relative home studies for children who are Court Wards of the State
  • Provides supervision of the placement of an ICPC child or a child from another area within the State
  • Completes required case documentation
  • Orients and educate families regarding adoption
  • Implements and monitors the case plan that accompanies each child
  • Participates in the review of the case plan
  • Writes quarterly reports for each supervised placement
  • Completes adoptive home studies and recommends approval or denial of certification of an adoptive home
  • Provides or arranges for supportive services for children and families
  • Attends various community and provider meetings on behalf of DCS
  • May drive agency or personal vehicle on company business
Minimum Qualifications

Suitable work experience may be considered as transferable skills in order to meet minimum requirements of the position, and will be considered by the Corporate Director of Human Resources.

  • Bachelor’s in Human Services or related field
  • Excellent data entry skills (speed and accuracy)
  • Proven skills utilizing Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Proven strong communication skills – oral and written are clear, concise, and in an organized fashion using appropriate style, grammar and tone
  • Obtain State of Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Valid Arizona Driver License, proof of insurance, Arizona Motor Vehicle Division 39 month Motor Vehicle Report, and reliable, safe transportation
Desired Qualifications
  • Master’s in Human Services or related field
  • Additional years of experience in a child welfare setting
  • Additional years of direct experience in psychosocial assessment
  • Experience working with children and families in group and individual settings
  • Bilingual, English / Spanish verbal and written
  • Board of Behavioral Health Examiners (BBHE)
