The challenge Adobe is seeking a versatile and passionate web app developer to help build out new services and applications as part of the Adobe Creative Cloud. These services will be an integral part of Adobe's comprehensive subscription, which includes desktop applications, as well as a series of new connected community features. Ideal Candidate Designs workflows, develops and tests code, and sees that code through deployment Self-motivated problem-solver, willing to take calculated risks Works well both on his/her own and with small groups and teams Understands when to change direction/technologies, as needed, to address the issues at hand Gets excited about solving large problems for real-world scenarios Values clarity, simplicity, and correctness in code What you'll do Develop and refine the front-end framework used for an engaging web experience Develop robust and secure interfaces to new and existing services Test and profile code written by yourself and others Work closely with a distributed team to build out customer features, end-to-end Work closely with our small team of designers to design and optimize all interactions to provide a best-in-class experience Engage with customers to understand customer problems, test ideas, and perfect workflows Stay current with the latest test, development, and deployment best practices and share your findings with the team and community What you need to succeed 3+ years of experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Experience developing high-performance react-like web applications Experience with various UI toolkits and interaction models including responsive design Intimate knowledge of Chrome DevTools, from breakpoints to profiling Understanding of supporting APIs, cache layers, and some dev-ops experience a very big plus Exp with React, Polymer, and/or Underscore templates Working knowledge of current web technologies such as Promises, CSS3 animation, ES6, and the Gulp/Grunt task runners BA/BS in computer science, or equivalent work experience Excellent communication skills Strong problem solving skills.
