OverviewDate Posted:11/29/2016 Job Code:EX1900 City:Seattle State:WA Country:United States of America Category:Sales Description Job Summary: Directs sales activities of the Club Store Sales organization by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates: Essential Functions: Develop and grow all seafood related product sales for Club Store stores warehouses located globally, which includes Value added, frozen, fresh, refrigerated, shelf stable, pet oil products and human supplements. Directs sales budgets, forecasting activities, and sets goals accordingly. Develops and implements strategic sales plans to achieve goals. Coaches the sales team toward successful achievement of sales and business development goals. Encourages sales team members to develop deep relationships with the customer, to further the linkage between Trident and the customer. Reviews sales quotes prior to delivery to customers. Communicates frequently with the sales team to track progress on sales goals and targets. Prepares monthly reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion. Adjusts forecasts as necessary. Delivers sales and financial reviews to the executive team on a quarterly, and up to monthly basis. Reviews supply chain forecast weekly with sales team and monthly with Demand Planning group. Partners with sales team members to make calls on high value relationships. Manages own key client relationships targeted to private label products. Collaborates with Marketing, Research & Development and Category Managers in developing a sales and pricing strategy for new and existing products. Ensures that special product requests from customers are quickly met through partnership with Research & Development and Production. On a regular basis, coordinates between R&D, Marketing, Supply Chain, Production, Logistics, and Finance to ensure clarity on priorities, programs and direction to facilitate the most effective field operations. Reviews market data to anticipate future trends. Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition. Plans and manages the Club Store Sales team budget, including the in-store demonstration accrual; responsible for any underage of accrual owed to customer. Plans and manages the spend to support Club Store's charitable activities. Develops relationships throughout the Trident organization, including Alaska Operations, VA plants, and support teams. Additional Responsibilities: Travels up to 40% to visit the Seattle office, Alaska processing facilities; to meet with Regional Sales Managers and customers; to attend customer-sponsored charitable events and industry trade shows. Job is required to be based in the Seattle office. Performs other similar or related duties as requested or assigned.
