Amazon.com Sr. Vendor Manager, Electronics, Team Canada in Seattle, Washington
The Canada team seeks a talented, smart, experienced and entrepreneurial Senior Vendor Manager to lead the Home Entertainment and Accessories retail business. This person will be responsible for driving the top and bottom lines while partnering with our supply chain and marketing teams to improve customer experience and vendor operations. The role will manage up to two direct reports.
The ideal candidate is a thought leader on new initiatives. He or she will lead in building relationships, adding selection, negotiations, planning marketing promotions, and driving better product availability through operational improvements.
You must possess strong analytical acumen and be comfortable drawing metric-based conclusions by managing an extensive amount of data. The successful candidate possesses superb business judgment, with a track record of successful negotiations, team development and strong analytical acumen. Enthusiasm for the Electronics space is a plus.
3+ years in buying, account management, project or product management, financial analysis and/or marketing
2+ years negotiation experience
Track record of taking ownership and driving results
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; strong writing and speaking skills
Ability to think both strategically and tactically with good attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects - prioritization, planning and task delegation
Proven analytical skills
