Job DescriptionJob Description - Sr. Product Manager Amazon Prime is looking for a strong Product Manager to drive the global customer experience in Prime membership. Your role in Prime will be at the heart of Amazon's explosive growth as we build earth's largest and most loved membership program, connecting customers to the best of Amazon and beyond in ways that add extraordinary value and convenience to their lives. In this role you are the business product owner for the member management strategy driving increased member satisfaction and subsequently increased retention through our member management experience. You will directly interface across both business and technical teams of Prime and Amazon to influence key strategic decisions. Candidates should have experience working on a global scale, and have strong analytical skills, business judgment and clear customer focus. A strong executive presence and the ability to influence is critical, as engaging with other teams to drive retention is a key aspect of this role. Specific responsibilities will include: Define the customer needs as member management complexities continue to increase worldwide. Drive the business vision and tactical execution working backwards from the customer. Building prioritized action plans in partnership with key stakeholders in Prime and Amazon. Developing key input and output metrics associated with program adoption and other key impact-driving functions. Guide deep analytics on member management driving a coordinated approach throughout expansion. Basic Qualifications 3-7 years project/product/program management experience, preferably in delivering customer-facing products/services. Bias toward customer experience measures and outcomes. Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and evaluate outcomes. Ability to juggle multiple priorities and make things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; strong bias for action. Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, schedule tradeoffs and opportunistic new ideas with technical employees. Strong verbal and written communication skills across all levels of the organization. Experience working in a global environment. Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills; ability to work successfully with teams across the organization, including Engineering, Program Management and Senior Leadership. He or she is a strong leader who can prioritize well, communicate clearly and compellingly and effectively influence across cross functional teams. Preferred QualificationsExperience in membership/loyalty program management and Multi-Channel Membership Marketing is a plus.
