Job DescriptionFBA is looking for a Sr. Manager, Marketing to drive its core marketing communications and Seller education for its selection expansion initiatives within FBA. With your help, we will develop content, promotions, and Seller education programs that help build and extend the reach of FBA, attract and convert new Sellers to the program, and engage our existing Sellers in authentic and compelling ways. The Marketing team for Selection Expansion within FBA has one of the more enviable tasks in marketing: grow and engage a wildly passionate community of Sellers by helping them grow their businesses through FBA. We are seeking an energetic, talented, and passionate leader to lead the team that drives the creation of top-flight content and programs. This position is a leadership role and you will share ownership of FBAs Selection Expansion initiatives. You will work collaboratively with other marketers, copywriters, user experience designers, visual experience designers, sales managers, product managers, domain experts, Sellers, customers, and executives, and be responsible for conducting reviews with senior leadership with a strong ability to communicate the Seller and business impact of promotions and other campaigns. You must be a critical thinker with a good design sense, have a strong analytical background, and an instinct for making tasks simple. Key Responsibilities: Lead the development of innovative creative and programs to drive Seller adoption of new FBA programs related to Selection Expansion. Translate merchandising and marketing strategies into creative execution, partnering with User Experience, Visual Experience, and Sales teams to ensure that designs meet brand and business objectives. Collaborate with the Business Intelligence Team to develop a solid understanding of our Seller behaviors and effectiveness of new engagement and promotional programs to drive rapid learning. Understand and respond to customer data, steering the strategy of future creative directions. Drive collaboration with the user experience and visual experience teams on communication and promotional campaigns. Hire, manage and mentor an effective team of marketers. Mentor and develop junior marketing professionals. Evangelize concepts to a diverse audience, in both ad-hoc and formal presentations. Develop budgets and timelines, allocating appropriate creative resources to projects. Foster an environment of multidisciplinary collaboration and creative problem-solving. Basic Qualifications 8+ years of experience in Marketing. 3+ years of experience as a lead/senior creative contributor. A portfolio of work demonstrating experience creating engaging content and showing your ability to turn ideas into a strong and unique creative vision. Proven track record of presenting to and influencing senior management. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work cross-team and synthesize feedback from merchants, marketers, copywriters, and product teams into creative direction.
