Amazon.com Program Administrator in Seattle, Washington
Amazon is looking for an individual who can assist with central coordination of communication and documentation for construction projects. This person will serve as an information hub for the team. The Project Administrator will play an integral role in supporting construction projects and will thrive on pulling pieces together to provide individual and cumulative reports as well as documenting standards.
Work cross functionally with internal stakeholders to define and document materials and outfitting standards for North America startup projects. Maintain standards via a structured change management process. Proactively curate the SharePoint library that houses these items.
Manage relationships with subcontractors and vendors. Juggle the needs of multiple projects to ensure that materials are delivered on time for each by prioritizing shipments and resolving shipping issues. This person may be called on to provide onsite field coordination as necessary.
Collect project schedule/budget information to prepare timelines and report on project status and committed spend against the budget. Coordinate with PMs to collect forecasted spend through the end of the project. Work with Project Managers to gather weekly field update reports and publish centrally.
Identify cost savings by streamlining processes or finding bulk purchase or alternative sourcing for materials. Track and report impact of these initiatives.
Bachelors degree OR 2 years experience in a similar coordination role
Strong Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Excellent written and communication skills
Ability to work cross functionally
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with constant change
Able to deal with ambiguity; flexible, able to change direction quickly
Ability to read and understand construction project drawings
Experience with out of the box features and use of SharePoint 2010
