Product Manager–Last Mile Experience in Seattle, Washington

Amazon is looking for a motivated individual with strong skills and experience in the areas of customer delivery experience and data driven decision analysis to join our WW Program management team. This role has global responsibility for managing Amazon’s Last Mile Experience. This role owns the end-to-end delivery experience for various part of last mile delivery including same day, next day and heavy-bulky. The Product Manager will make sure our operation is able to meet and exceed the amazon delivery experience bar while achieving operational efficiency. He/ She will partner with various stake holders including, but not limited to technology, capacity planning, driver planning, delivery experience and finance to deliver high level of customer/delivery experience across all our regions. In this position you will be responsible for defining features and processes, drive projects end-to-end, collaborate with technical teams to implement solutions, and deeply analyze the results. You'll drive frequent experiments where there's an opportunity to learn but proceed cautiously when decisions have big implications and would be hard to change. You will shape our strategy in a rapidly evolving environment. With stakeholders across the company and across the world, you'll have frequent opportunities to influence significant decisions.

  3. Written & verbal communication skills in technical and non-technical environments. Ability to speak at a level appropriate for the audience with key emphasis on being able to organize information clearly and succinctly

  4. Organizational skills; experience with Six Sigma and Project Management concepts to streamline and standardize tracking program launch milestones

  5. Comfort with new technology and thinking outside the box to develop and implement short and long-term creative solutions

  6. Desire and ability to learn quickly with strong appetite for knowledge, especially technology

  7. Project management skills

    1. 5+ years product management and/or business leadership experience, preferably with an online focus
  9. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Economics, Mathematics or related field or equivalent experience

  10. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple sophisticated projects and competing priorities simultaneously and a proven track record of delivering results in large, cross-functional initiatives

  11. Thrives in a high-energy, fast-paced environment where tactical and strategic initiatives are driven in parallel

  12. Knowledge of Microsoft applications such as Excel, Word Access etc.

  13. Knowledge of business intelligence tools such as Oracle BI, Tableau, JMP, Minitab etc.

  14. Proficient in SQL and data analysis

  15. Experience performing cost/benefit analysis, analyzing risk/reward tradeoffs, and making decisions in a highly-ambiguous and ever-changing environment

    1. Prior leadership and change management experience in a customer service or client experience team where the customer was top priority
  16. Minimum five (5) years of operations management or quantitative and qualitative experience highly preferred

  17. Experience in last mile operations highly preferred

  18. Written and verbal communication skills; comfortable communicating with VP-level decision makers; experience communicating expectations and requirements with business and technology teams through written proposals

  19. Highly proficient in SQL and other similar tools
