The Boeing Company Manager, Disruptive Innovation in Seattle, Washington

As a member of the Boeing Ventures organization, this Disruptive Innovation Manager level L position is responsible for development of alternative, disruptive approaches to core markets and customer opportunities for the Boeing Company. The incumbent will interact with Customers, Suppliers, Subsidiaries, Joint Partners, senior executives of Fortune 50 companies, private equity firms, and significant venture capital organizations as required to support enterprise related growth objectives.

Key RAA: - Leads a team of strategy analysts to drive strategy and investment decisions across functions and business units. - Develops, integrates and communicates Boeing strategies to drive global growth, innovation and productivity. - Aligns, integrates and supports Executive Council decision making. - Leads project initiatives to disrupt product lines in both BDS and BCA’s core business. - Leads large-scale project management as opportunities, initiatives develop and mature. - Partners in support of business strategy.

  • Cultivates relationships and assesses opportunities for merger/acquisitions and/or partnerships to drive global growth.
  • Engages external parties around the strategies to adapt to significant technology transformation that will fundamentally change and challenge Boeing’s business model.
  • Promotes the image, brand and awareness of Boeing in both sustaining and cultivating partnerships.
  • Integrates and synthesizes market intelligence to obtain insights.
  • Analyzes and aligns strategies across functions and business units.
  • Ensures clear reach-back and engagement with Executive Council, Business Units, and relevant functions.
  • Develops strategic alternatives, drives decision alignment and communicates Boeing strategies to achieve global growth, innovation and productivity.
  • Researches and synthesizes market & competitive intelligence to obtain insights.
  • Analyzes, aligns and integrates strategies across Company objectives, functions and business units.
  • Cultivates relationships and assesses business development opportunities for merger/acquisitions and/or partnerships to drive global growth.
  • Ensures clear reach-back and engagement with Executive Council, Business Units, and relevant functions.

Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree required. MBA preferred. - Experience with strategy - Experience in project management, deal-making, negotiations - At least 3 years of work experience in a manager or team lead role - Strong communication skills
