SOUND TRANSIT invites applications for the position of: HCT CORRIDOR DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veteran/Disability SALARY: $117,645.00 - $147,056.00 Annually OPENING DATE: 11/22/16 CLOSING DATE: 12/08/1605:00 PM GENERAL PURPOSE: Under administration direction, plans, directs, manages and oversees the activities of a High Capacity Transit (HCT) corridor including bus, commuter rail, and light rail projects, programs and functional areas; provides for planning, alternatives analysis, environmental analysis, third party agreements, conceptual and preliminary engineering for assigned projects ; negotiates solutions to major conceptual issues involving policy and directional change; and coordinates activities with other departments, divisions and outside agencies while providing highly responsible and complex administration support to the Deputy Executive Director of the Planning, Environmental & Project Development Department (PEPD) as well as the Executive Director.
