We are looking for a Deskside Support tech to support our client in Carrollton, TX. The right candidate will have 3-5 years of experience and would have good problem solving skills. They would have strong communicationn skills to go along with A+ level experience with deskside support in a fast paced business enviorment.
Desired: A+ Certification.
The General Duties:
Technician is to ensure that the overall Onsite service is both managed and that SLAs are met.
The Technician must ensure that customer service / customer satisfaction are maintained. This is achieved by ensuring that the queues managed and that machines are delivered to customers within the agreed timelines.
General Hardware Troubleshooting and Break/Fix repairs of Laptops, Desktops Troubleshoot and resolve software issues to maintain business continuity
Perform New hardware upgrades/installs including Data Backup/Migration in a Laptop and Desktop environment
Managing Objects and User Accounts in Active Directory
Ability to work independently in managing Customer Service Requests in order to meet Service Level Agreements
Maintaining a Professional demeanor at all times in providing outstanding Customer Service and Support to our End User Community
High School diploma or GED required
2 or more years of experience in a hands-on desk side support role required
Proficiency in Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office software
Proficient with PC hardware
Excellent communication skills required.
Excellent Administrative skills required
A+ Certification required
Lenovo, Dell and HP certifications a plus
