Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell.
As a Master Principal Sales Consultant you will be responsible as the expert for formulating and leading presales technical / functional support activity to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction. Acts as a technical resource and mentor for less experienced Sales Consultants. Focuses on large or complex sales opportunities that need creative and complex solutions. Develops productivity tools and training for other Sales Consultants. Develops and delivers outstanding Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Leads any and all aspects of the technical sales process. Advises internal and external clients on overall architect solutions.
Acknowledged authority within the Corporation. Acts as a leader of large-scale company initiatives. Viewed by peers as a leader and top contributor and by line management as a key business partner. 3 years vendor (sales and marketing) experience. 7 years business experience with relevant computer applications or database/tools. Ability to implement the most advanced product features. Thorough knowledge of system and application design. In depth knowledge of competitors. Demonstrated project management skills. Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Ability to persuade others through presentations, demonstrations, and written communication. Ability to travel as needed. BA/BS degree or equivalent, advanced degree highly desirable.

The role is predominately a Pre-Sales role, with positionsopen globally. This role is based in the North American marketplace, and thecandidate would ideally be located in or close to one of the major financialservices centres such as New York, San Francisco, Charlotte or Toronto.
Contribute to and drive largest Oracle cross Line OfBusiness deals in the Financial Services Global Business Unit (FSGBU) globallyas directed by regional sales heads and presales / solution leaders withrigorous sales focus.
Work in collaboration with local account team (X-stackhardware, technology and applications), Global Client Advisors
Lead all consultative selling enabling services includingdomain architects, sales consulting & Industry Solutions Group (ISGs).
Exercise creativity, independent judgment and businessacumen in selecting methods and techniques to design non-routine and verycomplex business solutions utilizing FSGBU and broader Oracle products andtechnology to meet customer needs.
Interact with all roles at customer including CIO, CRO,CDO and Business representatives
Articulate case for change
Lead detailed discovery analysis
Conduct repeatable strategy, architecture, roadmap andplanning workshops
Provide assessment of current state architecture andrecommendation of future state architecture
Identify and evangelize key business and technology benefitsof adoption
Provide roadmap and migration methodology and identify quickwins
Advise on organizational impact of solutions
Remain fully aware of relevant business programs and assetsfrom Oracle worldwide
Remain aware of all relevant product developments andreferences both at Oracle and at competitors
Wide background including business subject matter expertise,implementation and delivery of largescale software systems in real-worldsituations in the Financial Services Industry
Wide knowledge of risk and regulatory market and trends
Minimum 10 years experience in IT or Business Consulting
Knowledge of full Oracle stack (ideally)
Specific knowledge of Oracle database and middlewaretechnology is an advantage
Specific knowledge of Oracle FSGBU offerings is an advantage
Specific knowledge of Oracle Applications solutions is anadvantage
Detailed knowledge of risk and regulations in Financialservices market
Significant C-level presentation experience
Experience in a role reporting directly to/advising CXO orsimilar
History of advising on and controlling strategic IT decisionsthroughout a major business;
Recognized as an IT leader and thinker by independent organizationssuch as IT vendors or analysts;
Flexible to travel globally.
