Yardi Systems Technical Support Specialist in Santa Ana, California

Yardi Systems in Santa Ana, CA is searching for a full time Technical Support Specialist to join their growing team!

As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring proper computer operations so that end users can accomplish organizational tasks. This includes receiving, prioritizing, documenting and actively resolving end user help requests regarding Yardi systems applications.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Handle inbound calls and emails from clients regarding training questions and/or difficulties when utilizing software
• Work with clients and internal teams to facilitate webshare request
• Enter webshare configurations into production site for software connectivity to associate product lines (Yardi, MRI, Real Page, etc.)
• Evaluate system potential by testing compatibility of new programs with existing programs
• Evaluate expansions or enhancements by studying workload and capacity of computer system
• Achieve computer system objectives by gathering pertinent data, identifying and evaluating options, and finally recommending a course of action
• Confirm program objectives and specifications by testing new programs, comparing programs with established standards, and making modifications
• Improve existing programs by reviewing objectives and specifications, evaluating proposed changes, recommending changes, and making modifications
• Evaluate vendor-supplied software by studying user objectives and testing software compatibility with existing hardware and programs
• Place software into production by loading software into computer and entering necessary commands
• Place hardware into production by establishing connections and entering necessary commands
• Maximize use of hardware and software by training users, interpreting instructions, and answering questions
• Maintain system capability by testing computer components
• Prepare reference materials for users by writing operating instructions
• Maintain historical records by documenting hardware and software changes and revisions
• Maintain client confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential
• Work with project managers and other internal teams to meet client deliverables/project dates for implementation
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results, as needed

EDUCATION/ ESSENTIAL SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE

Required:
• Some college and a High School Diploma
• Minimum of 1 year of experience with technical applications
• Minimum of 1 years of experience in a fast paced customer service environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, Office, and Word)
• Proven ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
• Must be able to understand technical products and communicate that to clients
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to meet production goals consistently
• Organizational skills and the ability to produce quality results are key
• Must have analytical and problem solving abilities

Preferred:
• Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum of 2 years of technical applications experience
