Temp to Hire Electronic Stockroom Clerk
Cobham is seeking a Temp to Hire Electronic Stockroom Clerk to support our Manufacturing and Engineering teams. This professional will join our highly skilled San Jose team as we develop and manufacture advanced microwave and millimeter wave subsystems, hybrid modules and components for defense electronics customers. The assignment will run for 6+ months of time.
Provide Main Stores service in accordance with established practices and procedures to internal/external customers
Supports all areas of the Main Stores functions
Cycle count assigned parts and contribute in maintaining Main Stores inventory accuracy
Receives, stores and issues materials
Accurately inputs inventory database transactions
Expedite material processing as needed
Transfer kitted components for pick and place machines from stock room to production floor
Load parts in appropriate locations on production floor
Communicate any issues found by assemblers back to stockroom, correct errors immediately
Perform any repackaging as-needed on the production floor
Track parts used per kit build, reconcile parts remaining after kit build complete
Fulfill any additional parts request, log reason code for why parts requested
1+ years of Electronics stockroom experience or equivalent
Must be detailed oriented, have strong customer service skills and effective communicator
Ability to work independently on multiple tasks concurrently with good organizational skills
High school Graduate or GED certificate
Basic skills with Microsoft Office
Position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by Export laws of the US. Hired employees are required to provide proof of either US Citizenship or Permanent US Residency.
- SAP or Oracle Database experience
