_ _ _Schedule:_ Part-Time, 0.6, (24 hours per week) _Shift:_Days, no weekends

The Cardiac Rehabilitation Exercise Specialist provides professional care in the outpatient Cardiac Rehabilitation Program to Phase II Cardiac Rehabilitation patients in accordance with physician orders and the multi-disciplinary plan of care. He/she uses evidence based practice of exercise, including but not limited to assessment, planning, implementation and re-evaluation to deliver and document patient care.

SECTION II: QUALIFICATIONS Minimum job criteria including educational requirements, licensure, registration, certification and equivalencies, and work experience. All education and degrees must be from an accredited institution. _Education_: *B.S. / B.A. degree in Kinesiology or Exercise Physiology Required.
*_License/Certifications:_
*Current Basic and Advanced Cardiac Life Support Provider Certification.

Certification by AACVPR preferred by not required.
_Experience:_ *1 Year experience in Cardiac Rehabilitation.
*
Analytical skills necessary in order to handle non-routine, moderately complex administrative details. *Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions. Must effectively read, write and verbally communicate in the English language. *Computer literate with knowledge, experience to operate word processing and spreadsheets in order to generate reports.
*Ability to learn and operate Kronos, Meditech, Excel, Word and patient care management systems.
*
Superior communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively and positively with people. *Ability to show understanding, patience, and tact when dealing with physicians, staff, and the public. *Ability to work independently, exercise judgment, follow instructions and maintain a high level of professional conduct.
