Position Overview

As an UI / UX Designer at TE2, you’ll help translate TE2's robust eOS (Experience Operating System) into an intuitive, easy-to-use administrative interface. Working alongside UX, Product, and Engineering, you’ll apply user-centered design methods to craft user needs, business objectives, requirements, and technical capabilities into a world-class user experience. You’ll also collaborate with your fellow designers to ensure a consistent, delightful user interface across our products as they grow, proving that being B2B does not mean being boring.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with stakeholders to help gather and define UX requirements and contribute to product strategy • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on the definition of information architecture, navigational models, and task workflows • Translate business, user, and technical requirements into intuitive and stunning interaction and visual designs • Create product and feature specifications as needed including annotated wireframes, prototypes, redline diagrams, and graphical assets • Present designs and rationale to cross-functional team and be able to rapidly iterate on feedback • Work closely with engineers to ensure that product designs are being implemented to specifications • Participate in usability testing and user research including building user interface mockups and prototypes as needed

Your background

• Bachelor's degree required; preferably in design-related discipline: Interaction, Information or Interface design; Human-Computer Interaction; Graphic Design; • Portfolio demonstrating exceptional UI design • Minimum of 1.5 years of work experience, ideally in fast-paced Agile environment • Strong visual design skills and ability to communicate design rationale • Fluent knowledge of design tools such as Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or Axure • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS and front-end frameworks • Familiarity with mobile application UI/UX design • Excellent problem-solving and design thinking skills • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build solid working relationships • Ability to prioritize and manage workload and meet critical milestones and deadlines
