CACI International Project Manager for Aerospace Solutions Group (ASG) in San Antonio TX in San Antonio, Texas
This is an new Business Development opportunity in San Antonio TX in support of the Aerospace Solutions Group (ASG) which anticipates substantial additional personnel requirements across a number of labor categories and levels beginning in early calendar year 2017, contingent on receiving awards for both the BAT (Bomber Armament Tester) and the ATSSI (Automatic Test System Sustainment Initiative).
Duties and Responsibilities include:
Primary responsibility for either project management or active management of a functional area
Review contract requirements and financials. Ensure program financial and schedule commitments are met
Responsible for project cost, schedule and technical performance
Ability to identify high-performing talent and provide essential guidance to enhance employee value to the organization
Integrate with other project managers and functional managers to ensure all project objectives are identified and met
Ensure all program personnel requirements are met as required to meet cost and schedule objectives. Prioritize resource assignment
Preside over successful resolution of program conflicts in requirements, schedule and cost
Actively monitor project risk. Develop proactive strategies to address each risk
Ensure quality commitments for both the organization and the contract are satisfied
Prior successful execution of large DoD development project
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Development of automated test systems for aircraft electrical, mechanical, avionics and engine systems, including both software and hardware design
Successful execution of a substantial Earned Value program
Knowledge and use of ISO 9001, AS9100 or CMMI quality process standards
Multiple positions available including the following desired experience -
Prior experience in executing production (manufacturing) and sustainment projects
Prior experience managing complex logistics efforts associated with development projects
Prior experience managing administrative, financial, and programmatic elements of a large PMO
Prior experience in managing product development and control, including configuration and all forms of technical data and drawings
Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. Some travel may be required.
