Grant Accountant I:
-No Experience required.
Grant Accountant II: - Two years of experience in grant accounting OR post award administration of sponsored projects.
Grant Accountant III: - Four years of experience in grant accounting OR post award administration of sponsored projects.
- Good communication skills and ability to work with others.

Other Skills Preferred
Experience in Grants Billing and Accounts Receivable.
Three to five years of grant accounting experience.
Experience working in a complex financial environment.
Experience with PeopleSoft FMS.
Ability to interpret contract and grant terms and conditions.
Higher Education experience.
Description of Job Duties
-Prepare and submit billings to sponsoring agencies.
-Prepare expenditure reports in compliance with the sponsor’s terms and conditions.
Prepare special financial reports.
Prepare Budget transfer entries.
Setup new awards and projects in ERP system.
Reconcile expenditures on project budgets.
Reconcile letter of credit draws and expenditures.
Assist with reporting, as needed.
Assist with award closeouts, as necessary.
Perform other duties as necessary.
