Humana is seeking a Clinical Advisor Employee Assistance Program provide assistance to employers concerned about the needs of specific employees as well as other organizational matters. You will be responding to employees and their household members regarding their behavioral health, work-life, legal, financial, life coaching and health coaching needs in a call center environment. Primary responsibilities to include but not limited to the following. * Provide referrals to EAP Counselors

  • Provide follow up for EAP clinical cases

  • Provide telephonic clinical assessment, counseling and referral services to organizational employees and their household members.

  • Electronic documentation of all case activity.

  • Provision of electronic resources via email where appropriate

  • Conduct live chat and email interactions with members

  • The role may require one or more evening shifts (3pm-11:30pm EST/2pm-10:30pm CST) or one or more mid-shifts (e.g. 11am-7:30pm or similar)

  • Participation in special projects as needed.

Role Essentials

o Master’s Degree in clinically related field and a license for independent clinical practice required.<?xml:namespace prefix = "o" ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> o Two years of clinical experience. o Ability to demonstrate sound clinical judgment, sometimes under emergent conditions. o Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. o Ability to organize and prioritize multi-task workload. o Computer and keyboard skills sufficient for live entry while conducting telephonic assessments and gathering of information. o Bilingual in Spanish, preferred
