Maintains equipment and ensures thephysician has required inventory.Must have adequate training andknowledge of cardiac/vascular procedures to provide quality imaging andpatient care. Must be able to serve as scrub/first assist to thephysician during procedures. May administer emergency medications onlyunder the direct supervision of a physician. Employees will be involvedin research protocols, with specific guidelines reviewed for eachprotocol.Requires: Completion of an accredited Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist program.Peripheral Vascular diagnostic and intervention experience required. Previous Cardiac categorization Lab experience per guidelines of Cardiovascular credential International. RequiresACLS/BLS certification from the American Heart Association. RequiresIABP certification within 120 days of hire. Requires High SchoolDiploma. Bachelors degree preferred. Five years previouscardiology/vascular experience is required. Applicants with a lesseramount of experience may also be considered for Technologist IIdesignation. Must be able to wear 25 lb. lead apron for extendedperiods of time.AB 17 paygrade.
