Job Summary

Conduct manufacturing operations that produce quality products, on a timely basis, at optimum costs, while working safely. Responsible for all activities that are associated with this job. This includes, but is not limited to, operating safely; producing products that meet quality standards; meeting production and yield rates; following the proper schedule; following company policies and procedures; completing required paperwork and maintaining good housekeeping. The position will operate under close supervision.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Operate safely.Report potential hazards and any incidents to your team leaders.

  • Works from verbal instructions, simple prints and/or specifications.

  • Works under close supervisory direction where employee is told in detail, functions of producing parts with little or no chance of deviation.

  • Skill level defined as the demonstrated ability to calibrate , but not setup, any of the following products and produce acceptable quality at the defined production standard:

  • Pipets

  • Hydrometers

  • Autozero burets

  • Uses standard measuring equipment to assure parts meet quality standards.

  • Maintains quality and production standards.

  • Must accurately fill out all required documentation.

  • Maintain work area in a clean and habitable condition.

  • Be present for work on time, every day. Absenteeism beyond 2% absence is unacceptable.

  • Stop work if a hazard is identified and report to the team leader.

  • Stop work if a quality problem is identified and report to team leader.

  • All other duties assigned by supervisor.


  • Must have high school diploma or equivalent.

  • Ability to read and follow instructions.

  • Must have good hand-eye coordination.
