Global Business Services is the primary interface to the company’s offshore service centers where business process standardization is leveraged to achieve operating efficiencies in software development and testing, content production, and other business process outsourcing (BPO) functions where productivity improvements and increasing levels of quality can be achieved.As Financial Analyst, you will provide oversight and support of all IT Projects and Business Case modeling. Support includes monthly financial and operational reporting on key initiatives, provide input for the annual budget, and support the three-year business development planning process. You will also be a resource to the larger GBS Finance organization in support of financial projects and major initiatives.Your primary responsibilities will be…• Accountable for business case modeling and performance tracking for the IT key projects and initiatives• Report monthly financial results, analyze and interpret financial information pertaining to the IT key projects and initiatives• Understand business issues and can advise concerning business policy, resource allocation, and business operations to improve financial performance• Assist in developing the creation of annual budget and three-year Business Development Plan, detailing cost expectations, along with supporting strategic and tactical plans• Prepare forecasts and evaluate corresponding efficiencies, productivity and other initiatives, as applicable• Participate in the monthly financial closing process via submission of key accruals and other necessary journal entries• Participate and recommend efficiencies and opportunities for process improvement within given responsibilityAs a top candidate, you will have a successful track record as a business partner with proven ability to perform in a complex, high performing, finance organization


Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field• 2 or more years of experience in business finance including financial analysis, budgeting, and modelingPreferred Qualifications: • Experience in financial reporting and IT operations preferred. • Excellent analytical skills, strong attention to detail and ability to multitask. • Must have outstanding knowledge of Excel and other database tools. • Preferred experience with SAP and planning/reporting software such as Hyperion, Essbase & GEAC. • Strong written and verbal communications skills.Travel:• Minimal – 5 percent or lessApply to: http://bit.ly/2gl4f98About Wolters KluwerWolters Kluwer N.V.
