Current Need

McKesson is hiring for a Sr Director, Finance, Primary Care.

The Sr. Director of Primary Care Finance is responsible for fully supporting the $3.6B sales segment including but not limited to sub-segments of Physician Office, Surgery Centers, Health Systems, Corporate Accounts and key product categories in this space. This includes financial analysis for long range planning, annual planning, monthly forecasting, strategic initiatives, daily sales projection, preparation of ELT presentations, and business partner to Sales, Marketing, Category Management, HR, etc. This individual will also assist business management in areas of financial support including identifying projects to drive revenue growth and optimize profitability.

Major Responsibilities

  • Executive Leadership Team (ELT) presentations & regular meetings with various business partners including Sr. Management/ELT and cross-functional teams to provide financial updates, discuss business trends, and future direction of the business including strategic initiatives to drive revenue growth and optimize profitability

  • Annual Planning, Long Range Planning, & business partner to sales, marketing, category management & HR sales comp

  • Monthly forecasting, monthly close/reporting, & daily sales projection

  • Lead, manage, and develop team including analysts and one manager

Position Description

Responsible for managing, preparing, administering, and directing the control of the budget. Manages the activities of the financial analyst staff. Reviews and approves recommendations for financial planning and control. Monitors division and department adherence to approved budget.

QualificationsMinimum Requirements

  • 8+ years finance or accounting experience including 5+ years managerial experience

Critical Skills

  • Firm grasp of financial concepts, practices and tools

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex service environment

  • Strong people skills to work cross functionally and in highly matrixed organization including ability to change the thinking of, or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations.

  • Resourceful, well organized, highly dependable, efficient and detailed oriented

  • Executive level presentation skills (Power Point)

  • Solid communication skills with all levels of the organization

  • Results orientated

  • Leader and team player

  • Ability to travel up to 50% to Jacksonville (if not already located there)

Preferred Skills

  • Distribution experience

  • Healthcare experience

Education

  • MBA preferred in finance or related field or equivalent experience
