The Supervision, Regulation and Credit Department has an immediate opening for an Intermediate Report Analyst. The analyst performs activities that support the ongoing supervision of state member banks and bank holding companies. This includes providing a high level of administrative, analytical and technical support to examiners, managers and officers. The analyst receives newly submitted reports and letters from stakeholders requiring processing by the Report Processing Unit (RPU). The analyst is responsible for managing the unit’s workflow/distribution of work to team members in order to meet the Federal Reserve Board of Governors mandate related to timely completion of reports. Duties also include creating the electronic progress record and facilitating conversations with stakeholders related to the resolution of discrepancies in the layout of a report or report data; preparing "final" and "ready for distribution" document versions and various complex and sensitive documents related to examinations and inspections of financial institutions; finalizing these documents in accordance with System and Department specific guidelines, policies and procedure; applying RPU check lists to ensure that report information such as bank ratings, dates and other critical data submitted by stakeholders are consistent with on-line applications; serving as a backup for duties performed by Senior Report Analyst; and reviewing team metrics in order to identify best practices. The position will be located in Richmond, VA.
Essential Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Examiner and Inspection Report Processing:
o Reviews and processes highly confidential examination and inspection reports and other confidential supervisory documents in accordance with System and Department requirements.
o Proofreads examination and inspection reports and other confidential supervisory documents to ensure consistency and continuity with issues, conclusions and messages within the report. This includes analyzing, identifying and correcting discrepancies with supervisory data prior to issuing final documents to 5th district institutions.
o Keeps supervisor/manager informed of status of workflow and any matters requiring attention.
o Assists operations management to ensure productivity, efficiency and quality standards are met and internal/external customer service efforts are consistently achieved.
Monitors the RPU Mailbox:
o Monitors the mailbox for new or updated submissions related to examination reports.
o Manages the unit’s workflow/distribution of work to team members in order to meet the Federal Reserve Board of Governors mandate related to timely completion of examination reports.
Maintains accuracy and integrity and information on supervisory databases:
o Updates information, identify and resolves discrepancies through analysis of other information sources.
o Provides feedback to the Senior Report Analyst II when conflicting data is found when comparing data in examination reports to the database event documentation.
o Serve as the back-up to the Senior Report Analyst II for the entry of all 5th district examination and inspection data into the database.
o Performs thorough review of documents entered into electronic database to ensure accuracy by analyzing information for consistency and compliance with policies prior to finalizing.
o Prepare and disseminates the daily iTrack report to the appropriate analysts and officers.
Provides timely and accurate posting of supervisory documents and data to various systems and databases
Assists with special projects as assigned by management
Handles administrative tasks as requested including acting as a back up to all RPU functions on an as needed basis
Reviews team metrics in order to identify best practices. Assists with special projects as assigned by management
Performs job responsibilities under routine supervision
Performs other duties as assigned or requested

Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in Business or related field
Experienced professional with 3 – 5 years of report processing experience or equivalent industry experience
Requires strong PC skills and demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products
Experience using Adobe Acrobat is necessary Familiarity with standard office equipment such as copiers, scanners and fax machines
Experienced professional with1 year of regulatory experience
