Job Responsibilities/Duties 1. Run computer/projector at monthly meetings a. Internal project review 2. Support Risk Management & EVMS validations: A. Conduct monthly/quarterly Q.C. of Risk Management Database B. Conduct monthly Q.C. of EVMS data to support EVMS analysis C. With supervision, prepare monthly Risk Management Database export to DOE-RL. D. Enhance tools to automate monthly processes E. Develop internal metrics to track project progress 3. Attend/participate in earned value management system (EVMS) training and perform required reading to become familiar with basic risk management and project control principles 4. Assume entry level risk management and project controls. When ready, provide coverage for vacations 5. Support PC&PI reporting responsibilities A. Week ending reports B. All other reports under the responsibility of Risk Management and Reporting 6. Support company safety programs by attending/participating in safety meetings – Employee Zero Accident Council (EZAC), Presidents' Zero Accident Council (PZAC), Monday Morning tailgate, etc. 7. Draft and compile desktops for a variety of processes. 8. Support other tasks as requested 9. Maintain and enhance PC&PI website/SharePoint sites Required Qualifications - Enrolled full-time in a Business Administration or related undergraduate program - Enrolled with WSU-TC or CBC partnering with CHPRC for long-term recruitment - Is of Junior or higher academic standing status - Has maintained full-time student status two semesters/quarters immediately preceding the assignment with CHPRC. NOTE: Full-time status is determined by the requirements of WSU-TC and CBC - Willing and able to work 20-32 hours a week (some exceptions may be considered) - Enrolled in a degree program that: a. Relates to CHPRC and Hanford work, with emphasis in specific disciplines that support the cleanup mission. b. Aligns with the critical skills and specific job assignment requirements of the project/department - Has maintained an overall GPA of 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale) or greater throughout college experience - Committed to staying in school full-time until graduating Desired Qualifications - Proficient in Microsoft software (Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and Outlook) - Possesses effective oral and written communication skills - Promotes teamwork - Suited to work effectively and flexibly in a fast-paced environment - Willing to participate in company safety, voluntary protection program, and continuous improvement efforts
