Equal Employment Opportunity is the Law Poster: EEO Supplement Poster: Pay Transparency Poster: Responsibilities: Provide HRM support in the following areas: Assist the RL/ORP awards and recognition program administrator with reviewing award justifications, locating and completing supporting documents, monitoring awards workflows in Integrated Document Management System (IDMS). Assist with processing award actions in the Employee Awards Application (EAA) and DOE Corporate HR information system (CHRIS). Assist with completing quarterly inventory audits and monitoring organizational budgets. Process manually or electronically Standard Form 50 (SF50) and related forms and documents to affect the full range of personnel actions for Senior Executive Service (SES), General Schedule, and Excepted Service. Maintain on-line data in CHRIS and any automated personnel subsystems to include, if needed, electronic interface with finance and Office of Personnel Management (OPM) systems. Provide technical advice and assistance on personnel matters related to employee records. Scan and index record documents into the Electronic Official Personnel Folder (eOPF). Provide required employment verifications. Serve as a system backup for Electronic Performance (ePerformance). Serve as a backup for orientation and training sessions for new employees on all aspects of employee benefits (health insurance and life insurance). Assist in managing the hard copy and electronic position description (PD) libraries; identify and make corrections/modifications to position descriptions (PDs). Input position data into CHRIS. Assist with studies, analyses, scenarios, and reports relating to RL/ORP personnel-related programs or initiatives. Assist with development, interpretation, and implementation of policies, regulations, and guidance. Answer general questions from supervisors and employees regarding procedures for classifying positions and filing appeals. Serve as the backup for the Automated Time Attendance and Production System (ATAAPS) timekeeping system. Assist employees/supervisors in completing paperwork associated with employee benefits. Processes claim forms and applications for health benefits, life insurance and thrift savings plan. Investigate and reconcile inconsistencies and errors in health insurance registrations. Provide support to the Human Resources Information Systems administrator, including DOE Info and the Human Resources Reporting Application. Serves as backup to Staffing and Recruitment Team assistant. Assist employees in preparing paperwork related to HR actions. Contact individual employees or sup
