Principal UI Software Developer

RSA is seeking a principal JavaScript developer with experience developing interactive, modular and responsive web UIs to build the next generation of RSA NetWitness. You will be working on a product that organizations worldwide depend on to detect, investigate, and take targeted action against tomorrow’s most sophisticated cyber attacks. What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years of experience designing, developing and testing web applications.

  • Proactive, self-guided learner who enjoys keeping up with the latest tech in front-end development

  • Expertise in HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.

  • Solid understanding of what it means to write modular, testable JavaScript code.

  • Experience working with EmberJS, React, AngularJS, and/or other JavaScript frameworks.

  • Familiarity with CSS pre-compilers (LESS or SASS) and how to leverage them to produce a maintainable application.

  • Knowledgeable about various JavaScript testing utilities and frameworks like QUnit, Mocha, Chai, Jasmine, or Karma.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills. Extremely strong written and verbal English communications skills.

  • Comfortable working with Git. A link to your GitHub page would be awesome!

  • Experience working in an Agile environment. Able to break broad Epics into predictable User Stories in a team setting.

  • Eligible to work in the United States.

What Would be Really Nice:

  • Experience building visualizations in JavaScript using a library such as D3, HighCharts, and/or RaphaelJS.

  • Familiarity with other JavaScript RIA frameworks like Sencha ExtJS.

  • Experience working with WebSockets and libraries like Atmosphere, Socket.IO or SockJS.

  • Experience working with backend technology like Spring MVC, Ruby on Rails, and/or other server-side frameworks.

  • Domain knowledge of the information security industry is a big plus.
