U-Haul is seeking a General Manager Trainee and is looking for a motivated, goal oriented, and results driven individual to make a positive impact on our daily operations. In a training capacity the General Manager Trainee will observe and perform duties and operations necessary to qualify and assume the responsibilities of a General Manager of a U-Haul Moving Center and to learn cash management policies and procedures necessary to direct a profitable center.As a General Manager Trainee you will perform various duties including:• Learn profit and loss (P&L) analysis• Learn managerial techniques to apply towards mentoring team members• Learn methods on how to drive sales and production• Providing customer service• Learn procedures and practices to track and monitor inventoryThis is an exciting retail business involving the rental of trucks, trailers, storage units, and other related items and we are looking for an individual who is willing to work in a hands-on position and learn from the ground up.If you are an energetic, results driven individual with the ability to lead, manage, and promote a profitable and competitive customer oriented operation then this is the opportunity that you are looking for!We offer significant opportunities for growth and career advancement, where employees are encouraged to take responsibility for their own careers.


Position requires a valid driver’s license and a good driving record to operate a motor vehicle. Adhere to all local vehicular regulations while driving.

Work Environment:

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts or machines, fumes or irritant chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing, or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves or shields.

Physical Demands:

The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods of standing, walking, recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching or similar activities, and lifting a minimum of 50 lbs assisted or unassisted.
