Microsoft Corporation Recruiting Associate - University Recruiting in Redmond, Washington

The University Recruiting team is looking for a Recruiting Associate to help us in that endeavor. As a University Recruiting Associate (RA), you will be deeply involved in the recruiting process. The RA will partner closely with several recruiters and will assume core responsibilities that may include strategic event planning and marketing; developing and leveraging relationships with key external partners such as university career centers, student org advisors/leaders and former interns and alumni recruiting teams. You may also be responsible for initial candidate evaluation for fulltime and internship candidates; end to end school ownership and total accountability for hiring results at some schools. The RA will assume a variety of tasks focusing on increasing overall recruiter productivity and augmenting school recruiting strategies (e.g., scheduling & conducting initial phone interviews, reporting and data analysis, training & prep for college event attendees, etc). The RA will develop relationships with those in the RA function across the organization to ensure consistencies of process and sharing of best practices.

Key Accountabilities: Works with the Finder Recruiter to support the overall recruiting process designed to meet annual hiring plan Plans and executes strategic marketing events in partnership with Finder

Coordinates candidate sourcing efforts (e.g. creating & maintaining internet postings, planning & executing on event/career fair logistics and follow-up)

Builds and leverages relationships with key external partners and candidates (e.g. career centers, faculty, students, student org leaders/advisors)

Identifies and trains non-recruiter attendees for career fairs, presentations, and college campus interviews.

Partners with other Staffing Associates to ensure best practices sharing, process improvements and consistency in business Project involvement and ownership with possible scope outside of immediate team Manage one or two seasonal contingent staff administrative support during six-month height of recruiting season.

Minimum qualifications for this position should include:

-Bachelor's Degree

-Work experience in a high volume results oriented organization desired.

-Candidate should have demonstrable experience in event planning and coordination in a logistically complex environment.

-Comfortable working autonomously, have strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, strong planning acumen and possess a history of proven cross group collaboration.

-Candidates should be able to effectively manage multiple projects and candidates while contributing to a fun and collaborative team environment.
