The Paraprofessional will provide general accounting services in a strong client service capacity. These services will include bookkeeping, account reconciliations, payroll tax return preparation, and individual and business income tax return preparation. The successful candidate will possess strong organizational skills, the ability to multi-task and the willingness to assume additional duties as requested. The candidate must maintain strict client confidentiality and will be expected to produce accurate and dependable work products. The Paraprofessional will organize and maintain traditional and electronic administrative subject matter and client files as directed. Along with all other professional staff, the Paraprofessional will attend professional development and training sessions on a regular basis, and will perform other job-related duties as necessary.
Successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of general bookkeeping, accounting and tax experience. An Associate’s degree in Accounting is a plus. Successful candidates will possess excellent communication and analytical skills coupled with proficiency in Quickbooks, Microsoft Excel and Word, as well as tax preparation software.
Full and part time candidates will be considered. Ability to work additional hours as needed; some overtime and Saturday hours required.
