Red Hat Senior Manager, Technical Enablement Strategy and Readiness in Raleigh, North Carolina

The Red Hat Global Partner and Technical Enablement team is looking for a Senior Manager, Technical Enablement Strategy and Readiness to provide the team's strategic direction and guide partner and internal technical enablement activities.This role is critical to Red Hat's continued success by ensuring that our partners and our internal technical field roles (solutions architects and consultants) are ready and able to position, showcase, and deliver Red Hat products and services. You will need to work closely with Red Hat’s product and technology business units to understand Red Hat’s overall product strategy, competitive positioning, and development and release cycles to then develop and carry out an effective field enablement approach. Additionally, you will need to work in tight collaboration with the Global Sales Enablement and Development and Red Hat University (RHU) teams is required to develop and carry out a comprehensive end-to-end strategy. This role can be located anywhere in North America, preferably Raleigh, NC or Westford, MA however.
Primary job responsibilities
Understand, define, and carry out the enablement strategy for Red Hat’s product offerings for consultants and solutions architects (this includes internals and partners)
Create and refine role-based learning paths in collaboration with the functional leadership team
Work closely with all of Red Hat’s product business units to understand upcoming product releases, create an appropriate enablement plan, and track execution of the plan
Refine the existing "Readiness Toolkit" model in collaboration with the business units to ensure the field is appropriately enabled at the time of product/solution release
Gather stakeholder feedback and develop regular stakeholder communication channels
Develop a process for prioritization of enablement requests and report on a regular enablement roadmap to all stakeholders
8 years of training and enablement experience or technical leadership experience
Strategic thinking skills to take broad visions and concepts and develop structured plans, actions, and measurable metrics, and then carry out those plans
Understanding of Red Hat's product portfolio and current technical concepts DevOps, Internet of Things (IoT), Mobile, Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), Business Automation etc.)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, leadership skills, analytical ability, and business judgment
People management experience
Detail-oriented with the ability to work in a very fast-paced environment
Ability to get results in a highly matrixed organization
