We are looking for a Linux and SDN Tech Lead to join our RnD team!
In this position you will join our core engineering group and lead the design, development and maintenance of our overlay virtualization solution which includes:
Overlay network solution (SDN).
Overlay storage solution.
Hypervisor management agent.
6 years of software development experience
Experience in software-defined networks
In depth knowledge of Linux operating system
Ability to explain complex concepts and designs to colleagues across disciplines
Ability to mentor and guide junior engineers
Graduate of a major university or technological unit in the IDF
Fast learner, team-player, responsible and excellent interpersonal skills
Additional skills (advantages)
Knowledge in OpenStack Neutron/ Open-vSwitch/ Contrail/ Calico
Active contribution to open source projects
Familiar with x86 architecture
Familiar with virtualization concepts & implementation techniques
Familiar with device emulation concepts & implementation techniques

Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. Define specifications for significant new projects and specify, design and develop software according to those specifications. You will perform professional software development tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.
Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies major changes to existing products/services/processes. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 8 more years of software engineering or related experience.
