• Work with a Project Manager on various initiatives.
• Analyze, test and update tools developed into GE.
• Development new tools to accelerate/improving current processes
• Create documents of process, project requirements, test results, etc.
The performance engineer is responsible to address issues regarding the thermodynamic response of an aircraft engine or aero derivative gas turbine.
Performs parametric studies regarding the interaction of the different component of the engine.
Is capable of understanding the effect of different ambient conditions and perturbations; of efficiencies and flows, on the overall performance of the engine.
Looks for physical effects that cause significant changes in the performance of an aircraft engine.
Is capable of presenting his investigations and results in forums with highly specialized professionals with clarity and technically sound arguments.
Makes use of statistical tools to provide answers.
Looks for creative solutions and constantly finds ways to improve on the quality and response time of his work.
Aeronautical/Mechanical/Physics/Mathematics/Chemistry Engineering Bachelor’s student or related fields
Mexican citizen or legal right to work in Mexico (US, UE Y CANADA)
Effective written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish.
Strong background on Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics or Heat Transfer.
Presentation Skills: ability to communicate with Senior Leadership
Strong Computer Skills / programming ability.
Gas Turbine familiarity.
Project Management skills.
Experience in statistical analysis.
