The Opportunity Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) seeks a professional, innovative and detailed individual for our Test Engineer. Test Engineer Responsibilities: Evaluate new test technologies and methods. Determine Design for Test (DFT) specifications and coordinate with engineering staff on new product design. Design, develop, and maintain test strategies for new and existing products that meet corporate objectives. Train production testing staff in function, design, and maintenance of all testing processes on the production floor. Gather and analyze test data to improve test coverage and efficiencies. Qualifications: B.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience Minimum of 2 years experience designing and developing production tests Knowledge of C programming Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment Background check results satisfactory to SEL Negative drug test result(s) Preferred Qualifications: 2-5 years experience in electronic design, manufacturing, and testing Skill in design of test fixtures, test procedures, and test documentation To Apply for This Position: We ask all candidates to apply through our website at www.selinc.com/careers.
