Application Systems Analyst/Developer Employee Type: AP-Administrative Professional Position Number: 93703 Work Location: Pullman Summary of Duties: This position is responsible for assisting faculty and staff in utilization of data and records information systems for the Washington Animal Disease Diagnostic Lab, in a high-volume, fast paced environment, and working in a team environment on planning, analyzing, and designing software applications. Responsibilities include analyzing business information requirements, designing application solutions, developing application components, modifying and/or enhancing existing application components, integrating disparate systems and documenting solutions. Physical eligibility and understanding of BSL -2 laboratory safety guidelines and work environment is required. This position will have joint reporting responsibilities. Day to day supervision and management will be through the Veterinary Information Systems (VIS ) unit and overall strategic planning, accreditation and security compliance issues will be managed by the Director of the WADDL . Required Qualifications: Positions require a Bachelor’s degree and three (3) years professional experience. Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.
